You guys keep asking for it, so here it is - the Don’t Break the Chain Calendar 2014!

This was originally inspired by the Charlie McDonnell video Don’t Break the Chain back in 2012, and it’s a pretty simple idea. Basically, for each calendar that you print out, choose one activity that you want to do every day (or every other day or once a week or whatever you want) and mark off on the calendar every day that you manage to complete it. Eventually, you’ll have such a long chain that you won’t want to skip a day and thus, break the chain.

Goal Setting: 2014.


I know I made a New Year’s resolution a few years ago to never make New Year’s resolutions again, but I didn’t even keep that one either. This is due to the fact that at the end of every year my family does an activity called Goal Setting.

Goal Setting is when we look back at the past year and count our blessings and evaluate how the year’s goals were (un)completed. Then make new goals to for the upcoming year, sometimes it’s the same goal that we almost accomplish, a modified version, or a completely different one. We create family goals and personal goals; the specific personal goals consist of spiritual, physical, academic, and financial goals.

Meal Preparation #8

This week’s meal preparation: Green salads (just add healthy fats or protein for a complete meal,) cleaned and prepared stir-fry vegetables, mushroom and garlic brown rice with chickpeas, and marinated tofu (combine all 3 elements for a simple, healthy dinner,) and chocolate raspberry oatmeal bars for a convenient snack. G2 pens = love. I wish they had packs of 10 green pens. Green G2s are my grading pens and I can only get them in multipacks. 

Have you thought about getting just the ink refills and turning all the dead pens into green G2s?
